This Rosco 1700 Smoke Machine has a remote control with a 5 metre lead which can be stored on board. It allows for fine control of fog volume and has a timer function. In addition, it can be operated from a lighting control board through an optional DMX interface and daisy chained, allowing up to 4 machines to be operated from a single remote control.

This machine can also be operated with the Rosco Coldflow for low-lying chilled fog. The 1700 gives a high burst of fog and then ramps back to give continuous fog at any volume setting with no interruption for a reheat cycle.
